Abstract: Against the background of protecting the historical and cultural recourses and improving living environment, the paper attempts to analyze the current situation and the protection of Tianjin’s unique buildings.On the basis of the real conditions of Tianjin, this paper discusses the different period, types and characteristics of the historical and featuring buildings in Tianjin and analyzes these buildings against the background of the pre-modern era of Tianjin in the hope of further protecting, utilizing and showcasing the characteristic resources of Tianjin.
